Will Pastor Matthew. Bishop Oyedepo or Pastor Chris kiss your feet as an act of Humility?

John 13:  Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

Just curious about this act of unconventional humility started by our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth showing us that all human beings are equal before the eyes of the Lord, after all we are created in the image of the most high God.

Not so with our ultra grandeur marble sculpted mega churches we witness around today, its all about money! Like Tom Cruise in the film Jerry Maguire, it's more 'show me the money'!. The rich parishioners are the V.I.P, very priviledge direct phone lines with the Pastors.

As for the poor and less privilege to whom the 'good news' is meant to liberate, well that is others to preach, not the churches calling!. The poor are now milked dry for the rich, to buy their private jets, mega business and luxurious homes etc.

My question today is do you think your pastor is humble enough to kiss your feet? Pope Francis who is a Jesuit elected not to wash the hallowed feet of fellow priests but those of 12 young prisoners at the Casal del Marmo Penitentiary Institute for Minors in Rome. The group of youngsters who ranged in age from 14-21 included two women, one of whom is Muslim.
That is what Jesus will do!
